Review:Toyota Camry Hybrid

Listed at $26k MRSP, the Toyota Camry 2010 can be a great choice if you are in the market for a hybrid car. Firstly, getting a hybrid car is a great choice all in itself. Hybrid cars not only are great for the environment but ultimately they will save you tons of money in gas in the long run.

Toyota Camry 2010 Gas Mileage

The gas mileage for the 2010 Toyota Camry actually didn't impress me very much. It is not the 50mpg like the Prius claims to be or some of the other lighter hybrid vehicles available. Still, it's a nice upgrade from the 26/27 you get from the conventional Camry at 33/34 on the highway and city.

This baby comes equipped with a cool 2.4l 4 cyl hybrid engine and a slue of pretty cool standard features that include:

Aerodynamic multi-reflector projector-beam headlamps with auto on/off feature

Blue-tinted headlamp bezel

LED (light-emitting diode) for tail, stop and side marker lamps

Acoustic noise-reducing front windshield

Washer-linked variable intermittent windshield wipers with mist cycle and quite a few nice touches that just make it that extra nice and add value to the overall purchase.

Some of these features are utterly unnecessary but they do make up for an extra nice ride home from work... When you invest this much money in a car, it doesn't hurt that first of all it's extremely reliable with all the Toyota technology ratings and all but it also has those little critter comforts that just make you go ahhhh... I love my car.

The one thing I would add to this car is a nice GPS from cartoys. But that's just me. I just hate getting lost anywhere and it is cool to have the little voice tell you what's the nearest pizza joint or local brewery when you are in town you don't know.

On the Toyota official website, they list the Toyota Camry Hybrid Gas Mileage at 33 in the city and 34 in the highway.

If you buy it from the official Toyota website (not a bad idea), you can customize your car to your liking. Of course, there will be an added cost to the already somewhat steep 26k but some of them could be worth it for you.

For example, you can get 16″ aluminium alloy wheels installed from the factory for you for only $804. Put in a nice rear bumper aplique for under a hundred bucks or get a remote engine start key for a mere $529...

This car comes with a very solid 36 month warranty to make sure that you don't have to worry about major problems for at least 3 years or 36k miles. Not bad. I would of course make sure that once the first 3 years expire you go right ahead and get yourself enrolled in one of those extended warranty programs just for that "extended" peace of mind.

  1. Really interesting....
I'm satisfied after getting the mileage of this Toyota as it shows so effective and will be preferable for middle class people.
